When we had originally sat down to schedule a shoot, it was around the +5 degree mark. Who’d have guessed in such a short time that the thermometer would drop so drastically. I always had this idea though that if someone was ever brave enough to come out with me on a freezing morning, right at first light when it’s extra cold but extra pretty out, that I’d take them to the coldest most picturesque spot in town, lie in the river bed and get splashed in the face, crawl around on the icy rocks, and make something happen. Thankfully Joanne and Ner trusted me and agreed to come where I placed them, even though I’m pretty sure they’re both still frostbitten. Sorry! But I’m super happy with the results and I hope they are too!
